Annette Lake is a turquoise gem nestled in the shadow of Mt. Temple in Paradise Valley. This fishless lake has no surface inlet, but you can hear water bubbling under the boulder field along the western shoreline. Annette Lake was named after Annette Astley by her son W. J. Astley, who built an early Chalet in Lake Louise. The hike to Annette follows Paradise Creek, away from the bustling crowds to the North (Lake Louise) and South (Moraine Lake).
